Our mission is to turn ground-mounted solar land from a single-use energy asset into a triple-revenue engine for energy, food, and environmental sustainability
Bridging Research and Industry for Sustainable Land Monetization
AAVOLTA (AgriAquaVoltaic Intelligence Platform) addresses the global trade-off between clean energy generation and food security. As land-use conflicts intensify, AAVOLTA offers a multi-tier platform that stacks three productive outputs—solar electricity, shade-tolerant crops, and smart aquaculture—on a single site.
Originating from advanced research at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya, AAVOLTA transforms passive solar farms into bankable, multi-revenue digital assets powered by IoT, AI analytics, and Digital Twin technology.

Inspirasi Consortium & REIDI Flagship
AAVOLTA is anchored in the INSPIRASI initiative (The Indonesia-NTU Singapore Research Institute for Sustainability and Innovation), a 5-year strategic research collaboration funded by the Indonesian Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology alongside Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore.
The flagship demonstrator for this initiative is the REIDI (Renewable Energy Integration Demonstrator of Indonesia) Living Lab, spanning 15,000 sqm at the ITS Campus in Surabaya. REIDI serves as the real-scale testing ground for 1-MW integrated RES assets, microgrid SCADA/EMS, agrivoltaic crop beds, and smart aquaculture systems.
Renewable Energy
Real-scale hybrid integration of PV, BESS, Hydrogen, Biomass, and EV charging with grid-forming EMS capabilities.
Circular Economy
Maximizing resource efficiency by pairing solar shade reduction with precision irrigation and aquaculture nutrient loops.
Smart Cities & Living Labs
Deploying digital twin architectures and IoT telemetry to convert academic innovation into commercial enterprise.
